Yesterday my son found out it’s time for him to receive braces! But the reaction was surprisingly “YES, GREAT, WONDERFUL, I have to tell all my friends, this day is so special I must ask them about their braces!” He went so far as to watch video’s on youtube of kids getting braces! Boy they’ll show anything on youtube… REALLY WEIRD! I told him he might not want them, if he watches to much of that….
He can’t wait to pick out colors for his rubber bands!

LOL 😀 They really have tried hard to make it a fun experience – way more so than when I had braces…which was no fun whatsoever. Our orthodontist has video games, concert & iPad givewaways, connects with the kids on fb, (crazy!) and it’s years faster. Still…I’m getting kinda stuck on the watching videos thing… ahhahhaa 😀

Yes Colleen, exactly like our Orthodontist, playing games while having teeth looked at! My orthodontist was nice, but thats it, no games, books, just a window for me to look out & wish I was doing anything other than having braces put on:((
