A new day–missing shoes all together!

The other day, I made the comment “I didn’t see how my son could misplace just one shoe, that I could understand him missing both!” Well, well today’s the day that I find out just how easy it is to lose both shoes. As he is scrambling for school again this morning, he yells out “Missing my shoes, both!” I said “You have more than one pair!” he exclaimed “Missing them too!” Now I swear–as kids rooms go,  his room is neat, the only messy areas are under his bed & in the floor of his closet. So I tell him “Look under your bed & in your closet, your shoes did not just walk away!”  He said “NO, they did Mom, their shoes.” Crazy boy! The moral of this story is, put his shoes in my room the night before, so they don’t get misplaced–but I guess they could walk away again………

Just a little poem about Logan’s mischievous shoes:    They up & leave without a trace, just a hint of his shoe lace would make for a thrilling chase. Logan’s missing shoes, I’m so confused. Sometimes its one, or maybe two— dig in your closet boy– find that shoe! Thank you, God for only making two feet or Logan would never get across the street, he would be looking for shoes his whole life & never go to college or have a wife. His shoes I’ll keep now, close by so I can have a watchful eye. WOW, what a treat— to see the pair of shoes on his two feet!
