It was my first experience with MAKE cosmetics. I have to say, even though the samples were quite tiny, they packed a big punch. The Matte Finish Eyeshadow in Alabaster and Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy were a perfect complement to one another. I was thrilled with the color choices, as I frequently use a similar color palette. The MAKE Eyeshadow went on perfectly perfect the first coat and lasted all day. I will gladly use every bit of my sample, my teenage daughter will not steal this away from me. I can attest what the company states about their eyeshadow is true “The velvety matte powder goes on smoothly with a crease-resistant, oil-free formula that looks fresh for hours after you’ve applied it. Apply dry or wet for a more intense finish.”
Also, I can’t forget about the adorable Silk Cream Lipstick in Taffy. The color bounced off my blonde hair perfectly, it gave my lips that extra Va, Va, Voom they needed. I felt the lipstick went on smooth without that cakey feeling some lipsticks leave. It stayed on my lips well and did not bleed past my lips natural outline. I would also mention that the #MAKEyourself remarks about their lipstick are accurate and on par. “Vivid, saturated color that does double duty as a protective moisturizing treatment with antioxidant vitamins, rosehip, soybean and safflower oils. Aloe and chamomile extracts further condition lips. Feather-resistant and intensely pigmented in true-wear shades.”
