DIY Project “Whitewash Your Fireplace!”

Is it time to revive your tired fireplace, give it a facelift. It’s hard to believe what a little time, paint and elbow grease can do to transform your space. My fireplace is more than a singular fireplace; it’s a wall of brick, so I gave it a quick, easy makeover and you can too.

Items you will need: Flat White Paint, Water, Paint Brush, Paint Cup and Plastic Wrap and you’re ready to go. Dilute the paint to your satisfaction, remember start with adding a little, you can always add more. I mixed 50/50 water to paint ratio and it was a perfect mix for me. Stir it well and paint your heart out. Let dry a few hours then voila’! Perfect facelift with no painful side effects, lol……except maybe a sore arm, from all the painting. Woot!

Items you will need plus water from your tap.

Test one section first and paint as light (dilute more paint with water) or as dark (more paint than water ratio) as you like. I diluted 50% water, 50% flat white paint.
