New! Night of Joy at Magic Kingdom — This popular Christian music event hits Magic Kingdom Park on September 6 & 7. This event runs in the evening hours and is a separate paid admission. The cost is $58.58 for one night and $105.44 for a two-night ticket per person including tax.

Restaurant Opening –The re-imagined California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort debuts September 9, with reservations open starting August 26.

My Disney Bands –Phase 3 of the testing is still in progress at select Disney Resorts at Walt Disney World.

New! Villains at Magic Kingdom – Disney is preparing for Friday the 13th, where the villains will come out during the 13th hour at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. MagicKingdom is giving a sneak peek of the villains in the Celebrate the Magic show on Cinderella Castle.

New! Transportation from Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney – Disney is testing through October 31. They are providing bus transportation (roundtrip) from Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Downtown Disney. You can then take a bus from Downtown Disney back to your resort or back to the Animal Kingdom parking lot.

New! See the Citizens of Main Street USA – This September, you’re invited to put on your finest new Fall hat and join the young citizens of Main Street, U.S.A. for an unforgettable show! Discover the excitement right inside Magic Kingdom park, where the citizens will be ringing in the occasion with a seasonal showcase commemorating the magic blowing about in the autumn air. Don’t miss out on a ton of harvest-time fun, courtesy of the Fall Trolley Show and Limited Time Magic!

New! Magical Dining – This month kicks off the Orlando CVB Magical Dining Month. You can choose from a list of restaurants where you can enjoy a 3-course meal at a fantastic price. For example, Todd English’s bluezoo is only $33 per person for a 3-course meals at the Walt Disney World Swan & Dolphin.

New! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party – This popular special events for families kicks off on September 10 at Magic Kingdom Park. This even runs from 7pm-midnight.

Resort Pool Parties -Now through the end of September, guests staying at the hotels of the Disneyland hotels can enjoy a little extra summertime magic with special pool parties each day! These one-hour pool parties are a chance for the whole family to get together to enjoy games, music and dancing. Check with your resort at check in for the latest pool party times.

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit – Come along for a moment 86 years in the making—on September 5, 1927, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit debuted in a short film titled “Trolley Troubles.” And to celebrate the anniversary, you’re invited to attend a Limited Time Magic party for all things Oswald at the Disneyland Resort! Hop on over to Clarabelle’s in Disney California Adventure Park for a delicious Oswald Ice Cream Sundae in a souvenir Red Car Trolley cup. Also, be sure to stop by Oswald’s or Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street at Disney California Adventure Park where you can find  Oswald inspired merchandise that will have you smiling from ear to ear, including artwork, vintage signs, Oswald Ear hats and more!
