It took less than 30 minutes to evacuate thousands of guests from the theme parks on Sept. 11, 2001. After the Sept. 11 attacks, the Federal Aviation Administration put a flight restriction over the Disney World resort. It extends out in a three-mile radius from Cinderella’s Castle and up to 3,000 feet.
