Ikea, Fry’s & Five guys burgers & fries

Made up for Saturday’s losses on Sunday. The hotel had butter (angels singing) it was still pouring buckets of rain, but there was a bright spot, because it was morning, inevitably there was also light! So now with light & rain & charged cell phones with GPS’s we would find what were looking for! I guess when they predict 100% rain, they aren’t playing…

Shopped at Ikea, no problemo, then off to Five guys burgers & fries for lunch, yummo! Next, onto Fry’s Electronics, we decide to go to a different Fry’s than were familiar with, because it was on our way out-of-town. Boy was it different, everything about it was unusual—-It was a round building & looked like an old museum with odd painting on the wall and Indian mannequins up along the railings with stuffed longhorn cattle, mind you this is an electronics store, why would indians & longhorn’s be in it at all? Also there were buckets everywhere catching the rain that dripped from the ceiling, at any moment I was worried the ceiling would cave & all the mannequins would fall on us, but most worrisome was the stuffed longhorns that might come after & really, really hurt. Later found out it was the first Fry’s in Dallas in the 1980’s looked more like the 1880’s…. I will post picture soon, odd!
